Photography is Allen’s passion and vocation; it has been part of his life from his first assignment at the age of just seven!

Allen grew up into a world of photography following his father, Alf’s long distinguished career as a photographic journalist for a national newspaper, which lasted 42 years. 

Allen is a knowledgeable, creative and ambitious photographer with over 40 years experience, working with a wealth of blue chip businesses and leading brands across Europe and the rest of the world. He is a self-motivated, enthusiastic, innovative and confident individual, with excellent photographic and communication skills. He prides himself on his ability to create and drive new projects with a great deal of energy, passion and commitment. 

His skills lie in a multitude of photographic disciplines, including Advertising, PR, Marketing, Still Life, Travel, Commercial and Food photography.

Allen’s professionalism and energy have afforded him a successful 40 year career, 15 of which specialising in food photography. Creative, bold and considered, Allen’s images truly whet the appetite.

Allen’s incredible eye for detail, teamed with a personal passion for food sees him working alongside Michelin Star Chef Nigel Howarth, creatively capturing the work of over 70 International Michelin Star Chefs at Northcote’s Obsession Food Festival.

Allen is adept in creatively interpreting briefs, working closely with each client to ensure the perfect shots are captured.
